Employee Health Services provides health care services to our employees that is convenient and has very few costs and forms. With no interaction between the clinic and insurance companies, our highly trained staff is able to make City of Roanoke employees our first priority.
Established in 1985 as a convenient and cost effective way to treat minor physical discomforts and injuries of employees, the City of Roanoke’s Employee Health clinic has grown to provide comprehensive health services to City employees as well as their spouses and children over the age of six. Staffed by a Nurse Practitioner, two Registered Nurses, a Medical Director, Wellness Coordinator and Medical Office Assistant, the clinic provides the following services:
*Laboratory blood panels
*Preventative health, public safety and new hire physicals
*Sick and medical appointments
*Immunizations
*Drug and alcohol testing
*Wellness programming and health promotion
*Direct referrals for outside doctors, specialists, clinics and chronic disease programs
