Volunteer Opportunities
Providing services such as fundraising, resource protection and construction, our trail volunteers are the foundation of Roanoke's natural resource system. Volunteers spend many tireless hours improving Carvins Cove, Murray Run Greenway, Mill Mountain, and other natural resources in the Roanoke Valley. Roanoke Parks and Recreation partners with Pathfinders for Greenways, a local nonprofit organization, that has supplied more than 36,000 hours of volunteer time through more than 900 volunteers.
